I remember those days
Alive young and pure
In that imaginative place
Hoping to explore the world
Why do they lock me in?
I remember those days
Zealous wild and free
In that conformative place
Hoping to conquer the world
Why do they lock me in?
I remember those days
Famous rich and prime
In that blissful place
Hoping to change the world
Why do they lock me in?
I remember those days
Effete weak and grim
In that dreadful isolate place
Hoping to leave the world
Why do they lock me in?
I remember the days
Enclosed in brown walls
Hoping to see the world
Why did they lock me in?
I now stand amazed
In a perfect place
Looking upon the world
Now that I’m gone
Will they remember me?
AH-MAZING! *_*

Great stuff – you’ve found a structure that adds a lot of power to already-elegant writing! Keep it up
