Peace

For peace and tranquility
A true quest to seek
Amidst the hustle and hostility
To find the gentle and the meek

Floating with the wind
Drifting among the clouds
To discover what’s within
Things better off without

Inside the forbidden forest
Of thorns and such
With unquenchable thirst
This is getting too much

Is it possible to find rest
For my soul to refresh
It could well be best
To return to ash
